Switch 2’s new Japanese sales baseline incoming (Famitsu sales)

The Famitsu sales numbers dropped for this week and there has been a mad dash to pick up the Switch 2 before the price increase (which happened in real time already). Just take a look at these hardware numbers:

That is 247,880 Switch 2 consoles sold in just one week. Those are holiday numbers right there.

We will most certainly see a massive drop when we get numbers in a couple of days. But it will take a few weeks for the new baseline to really sort itself out.

As such, this week’s Famitsu numbers are one of my most anticipated to see. I want to see how Switch 2 performs initially at the new price point.
