Press Start: 52 Posts in 2026
This post is a declaration—and I’m putting it here to hold myself accountable.
After a very turbulent 2025, marked by care-giving responsibilities, the passing of a loved one, and the estate responsibilities that followed, I wasn’t able to show up in this space as consistently as I wanted to.. Life required my attention elsewhere, and I had to honor that. But 2026 is shaping up to be a year of recovery, rebuilding, and intentional growth - and part of that means recommitting to the things I want to nurture. This blog is one of them.
With that in mind, I’m committing to posting at least once a week for all of 2026. That’s a minimum of 52 posts in this calendar year. The goal here isn’t perfection. I may take a week off here or there or even double or triple up when big news drops or the writing spirit moves through me. This is about consistency. I want to challenge myself. I want to strengthen the habit of showing up, thinking deeply, and putting words to page on a regular basis.
This commitment reflects a broader mindset I’m carrying into 2026: doing the work, staying disciplined, and trusting that small, consistent efforts compound over time. This growth isn’t going to happen in bursts; it going to happen through repetition.
And by putting this declaration here, publicly, I’m giving myself a reminder to keep going. If I fall behind for a week or two (life happens, even with the best intentions), I won’t quit; I’ll adjust, double up, and keep moving forward. The point is to stay in motion.
Here’s to consistency, accountability, and showing up… one post at a time!
